The Cybersecurity Association of Pennsylvania is excited to announce the commencement of Cybersecurity Awareness Month, a pivotal initiative led by the National Cybersecurity Alliance aimed at educating and empowering individuals and organizations to protect themselves from cyber threats.
Throughout October, the association will host and speak at a series of events designed to raise awareness about the importance of cybersecurity. These activities will cover a range of topics, including best practices for online safety, data protection strategies, and the latest trends in cyber threats.
"We are thrilled to champion Cybersecurity Awareness Month for our third straight year and emphasize the crucial role that cybersecurity plays in our daily lives," said the association's spokesperson Scott Davis. "Our goal is to provide valuable resources and knowledge to help our community stay safe online."
Over the next four weeks, the Cybersecurity Association of Pennsylvania will be highlighting four simple ways to stay safe online including using strong passwords, using multi-factor authentication, completing system and firmware updates, and how to recognize and report phishing.
Join us in celebrating Cybersecurity Awareness Month and taking proactive steps to enhance your digital security.
